USA Military Personnel Stationed In The Middle East Call Home On NSGDatacom’s Series 2200 Network Exchange Voice Over IP Switches

CHANTILLY, VA — November 11, 2003 — A major USA interexchange carrier has successfully deployed NSGDatacom’s (NSG) Series 2200 Network Exchange Voice over IP (VoIP) Switches in its call home program for USA military personnel stationed in the Middle East. NSG’s solution was selected because of ease of deployment, reliability and the high quality of the telephone calls using packetized voice and clear channel communications over satellite.

Rich Yalen, CEO of NSG said, “We are pleased to provide the products and support for this major interexchange carrier in support of our military personnel in the Middle East. We look forward to continuing our support of this program.”

The Series 2200 Network Exchange VoIP Switch is an IP/Frame Relay platform that delivers the benefits of voice, fax, and wide area networking together with multi-protocol data support to carriers and enterprises alike. The 2200 Series offers a unique combination of switched compressed voice and data support in a single platform. As a stand-alone voice and data switch, or in conjunction with other NSG products, it gives networks unparalleled flexibility and efficiency.
